Ordinary Sundays turns your photographs and details into printed keepsakes. That means you trust us with personal things — a child’s name, a family photograph, a home address. This page explains exactly what we collect, why, and what we do with it. We collect as little as we can and we do not sell it.
What we collect
- What you put on a print. The photograph you upload and the words you type — names, dates, a place, the small facts that make an edition yours.
- Order and delivery details. When you check out we collect your name, email address, and shipping address so we can make and send your order.
- Kept on your device. Editions you are working on, your bag, and the full-resolution copy of your photograph are stored in your own browser (local storage and IndexedDB) so your work survives a reload. This never leaves your device until you place an order.
- Newsletter. If you enter your email to join our list, we keep it to send you occasional mail. You can unsubscribe at any time.
We do not collect payment card details. No payment provider is connected to this site, so nothing is charged and no card numbers pass through us. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.
Where it goes
- Supabase hosts our database and file storage. When you place an order, your order details and the original photograph are stored there, in private storage that is not publicly accessible.
- Location lookup. When you type a place in the studio, we send that text to the Open-Meteo geocoding service to find its coordinates and country. We send the place name only — nothing else about you.
- Hosting. Our site is served by our hosting provider, which processes standard request information (such as your IP address) to deliver pages, as any website does.
How we use it
We use your information to make and deliver your order, to send you a proof and order updates, to answer you when you get in touch, and — if you opted in — to send our newsletter. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your photographs for anything other than producing your order.
How long we keep it
We keep order records and their photographs for as long as needed to fulfil the order and to keep proper business records, and so we can reprint if something arrives damaged. You can ask us to delete your photograph and personal details once your order is complete, and we will, unless we are required to keep a record of the transaction.
Your choices
- Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.
- Ask us to delete your photographs and personal details.
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email.
- Clear the on-device data yourself at any time by clearing this site’s storage in your browser.
Children
Many of our prints celebrate children, but the accounts and orders are for adults. Ordinary Sundays is not intended for use by children, and we do not knowingly collect information directly from them.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, do our best to let you know.
